Delaware’s trade licensing runs through the Division of Professional Regulation with Prov administering the exams. Before you buy any preparation, there is one structural fact about Delaware plumbing you should know.
Delaware tests one plumbing credential, not two
Delaware’s only tested plumbing credential is the Master Plumber license. There is no separate journeyman plumbing examination with its own paper and its own question count.
That matters if you are working toward a Journeyman Certificate, because you will sit the same underlying technical examination: 100 questions, open book, three hours, 70 percent to pass, based on the 2018 International Plumbing Code and the 2018 International Fuel Gas Code.
We say this plainly because it changes what you should buy. If you see journeyman and master plumbing prep offered separately for Delaware, they are preparing you for the same exam. Ours are built against that same technical paper.
Electrical genuinely does have two levels

All open book. Note the electrical master paper sits at 75 percent where plumbing sits at 70, so on an 80-question exam you need 60 correct rather than 56.
The reference list is the trap
Delaware permits the American Electrician’s Handbook alongside the NEC. That same handbook is explicitly banned in New Mexico. Reference lists are state-specific and exam-specific, so bringing what worked last time is how books get confiscated at the door.
Tabs and highlighting are allowed, but no Post-it notes, no photocopies and no test-prep guides in the room.
